Jean-Luc
himself has been in the industry since 1975. He began his career in
France, working as a stylist in Toulouse and Paris, and instructing his
colleagues in the latest cuts. In 1984, he arrived in Georgetown. What
he lacked in English language skills he made up for in drive and
ambition to become the best stylist in DC. He opened IPSA , his first
Georgetown salon, in 1991. It was quickly voted the "Best Salon" by
“The Washingtonian” magazine. In 1998, He moved on to open Jean-Luc in
its current row house location on P Street. Jean-Luc has been
recognized by “The Washingtonian” as the "Best Hairdresser" and called
the "Man to See" in the city. |
